Four high school kids discover an old video game console and get pulled into the game’s jungle setting. They soon realise that they don’t just have to play the game as the avatar versions of themselves– they need to survive it too.

In the age of Hollywood’s obsession with franchise-building and reboots, the idea for a sequel to 1995’s ‘Jumanji’ came across as another eye-roll worthy project. However, the combination of charming actors Dwayne Johnson, Jack Black, Karen Gillian and Kevin Hart, made it evident that this would wind up either being a complete trainwreck, or sheer mindless fun. Fortunately, ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ falls solidly into the latter category. The chemistry between the lead cast is evident and the script makes the most of this by giving each actor moments to shine and showcase their skills while they clearly enjoy playing their characters.

Johnson’s younger persona Spencer is a nerdy guy who has lived a sheltered life and is afraid of the world. When he enters the game he takes on the avatar of a hunk with no discernible physical weakness. Johnson has fun with this switch of persona and watching him go back and forth doesn’t get old. The same goes for Jack Black who plays a self-absorbed, social media addicted teenage girl Bethany. Her switch into Black’s trademark rotund shape is the most extreme and ends up being hilarious. While Black and Johnson are engaging as they are completely cast against their typical selves, Gillian and Hart aren’t too far behind playing an awkward, insecure but intelligent girl, and an all-star jock boy trapped in a less-than-stellar body respectively.

This entire body-switch premise works on slapstick humour that’s not crass and moves quickly with ample action to ensure that the 2-hour runtime doesn’t feel bulky at any point. Granted there’s a villain problem with Bobby Cannavale’s Van Pelt being as one-dimensional as they come. It’s conveniently explained away as this is all a video game, and the same rules apply for its lack of depth. ‘Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle’ ends up being a fun, holiday film that will keep you entertained enough to make it worth your time and money.

An incorruptible IT officer Amay Patnaik (Ajay Devgn) gets an anonymous tip about a political leader Tauji’s (Saurabh Shukla) illegal assets. Patnaik plans an elaborate Raid on Tauji’s home and businesses.

A good film is it’s own reward. Raj Kumar Gupta has made an entertaining and impressive film with Raid. Ritesh Shah has written an intelligent script and screenplay one that has interesting characters and dialogue too. Raid is an engrossing film, its moulded in the commercial film format. There are songs, there are twists and there’s an abundance of thrills. This one has all the trappings of a film you’d want to root for. As the hero fights corruption with utmost honesty, and his team of officers unearth hidden assets with lively enthusiasm, the viewer feels the thrill of seeing gold biscuits and currency notes pop out from walls and other unlikely sources. The music by Amit Trivedi and raid Movie hd video download from vidmate
Tanishk Bagchi doesn't really fit into the gritty narrative and end up as a distraction from the otherwise taut story. Tracks like 'Sanu Ek Pal' and 'Nit Khair Manga' look like they've been included just to add to the film's commercial prospects.

Ajay Devgn plays Amay Patnaik with characteristic intensity and resolve. He’s the quintessential public servant. His ideals are taller than his lanky frame and his integrity is infallible. With great pride he assumes control of the IT department in Lucknow in the year 1981. Saurabh Shukla plays the chief antagonist Tauji to great effect. He’s the resident baahubali, a man who prides his political power and has enough confidence to mock the hero before the raid begins. He throws him a challenge, that the IT man will not find a single rupee during the search operation. In Raid, the battle takes place between the ideals of one man and the belief of the other. The hero is the voice of justice and righteousness while the villain is on a power trip. Their banter, their clash and their conflict makes for an engrossing watch. But this politically charged film is at times a little too predictable.

Saurabh Shukla’s performance as Tauji is the highlight of the film. He brings in quirks and shades that make his character the most interesting part of the film. Ajay Devgn does what he does best – he keeps the intensity high and delivers his punchy dialogues with effortless ease. Ileana D’Cruz and Amit Sial chip in with good supporting performances as well. 85-year-old Pushpa Joshi as Tauji’s mother is extremely charming.

Director Raj Kumar Gupta handles the film well. The last 10 minutes seem a little fleeting, but that’s a minor grouse. The music by Amit Trivedi and Tanishk Bagchi isn’t consistent either. But Raid is a film that caters to public sentiment against black money and corruption. All in all, this one’s right on the money.

Downsizing Movie downlaod from tubemate

Paul and Audrey Safranek (Matt Damon and Kristen Wiig) choose to go for a procedure called ‘Downsizing’, where human beings are shrunk to 5 inches and live ideal lives in gated communities. However things don’t go as planned for the couple.

As a solution to the effects of overpopulation and impending climate change, scientists have come up with a revolutionary procedure called ‘Downsizing’, where people can be shrunk to 5 inches. This means fewer resources are consumed, the pollution reduced and people get a chance to live a lavish lifestyle than their big counterparts because a mere $100,000 is transformed to $12,00,000 when you are transformed. The small world seems ideal, with the only catch being; the procedure is irreversible. Paul and Audrey Safranek, a middle class, cash-strapped couple opt to go for the procedure for a better life in a gated community of small people called Leisureland, but Audrey develops cold feet right after Paul has been shrunk. Now, Paul is even more depressed and lives the same dull life he previously lived until he meets his hard partying roommate Dusan (Christoph Waltz) and his Vietnamese dissident maid, Ngoc Lan Tran (Hong Chau). While Dusan lives lavishly and wants Paul to be happy with the material things around him, Lan Tran takes him to the poorer part of Leisureland which slowly transforms him.

‘Downsizing’ is a very different film by Alexander Payne who has previously made ‘Nebraska’ and ‘The Descendants’. Sure the dark humour is present like the previous two films, but on this one, he has really taken the microscope to the subject of downsizing humans. While our technology could one day save us, can we as humans overcome our emotions and our behaviour in the face of doom? While the subject matter is heavy, the humour provided by Christoph Waltz and Hong Chau keeps things light. The chemistry between Matt Damon, as the simple do-gooder and Hong Chau as the feisty political dissident is hilarious and moving at times. The attention to detail in each scene, like when the downsized humans are picked up with a spatula or when they smuggle giant vodka bottles tied to a miniature sailboat, are a delight to watch.
This is one film that looks at a much bigger problem when it comes to shrinking humans than any previous film on the subject. While it dithers in what it wants to eventually say, it is certainly a fun watch.

Blackmail Movie downlaod from vidmate

Dev (Irrfan) is a toilet paper salesman. One evening he decides to spice up his otherwise mundane life and passionless marriage, by going home early from work with a bunch of roses for his wife. It turns out, that his wife is in bed with another man. This shocking revelation leads to a series of events which are both funny and outrageous.

Blackmail Review: The middle-class man is a victim of his own circumstances. He lives a life of submission, so much so, that when presented with a situation of conflict, like Dev, he struggles to commit a crime of passion. He resigns to his fate, or so it would seem. Blackmail takes this concept and gives it an uproariously good twist. It takes the common man’s daily dilemmas and puts an intriguing spin on things like EMIs, loans and failing relationships.
On learning about his wife’s adultery, Dev starts blackmailing her lover Ranjit (Arunoday Singh), who in turn blackmails Dev’s wife. More drama unfolds once other characters from Dev’s life get to know of his blackmailing plans. It sparks a series of sorts, where everyone starts blackmailing someone else for motive. The situational humour that arises from this madcap premise is hilarious. Parveez Sheikh (who’s written Queen and Bajrangi Bhaijaan) has his finger on the right note, and pitches the comedy in the sequences skilfully.

The pace of the first half is a bit slow. It takes time to setup all the plots, but even then, the humour stays crisp and entertaining. The second half is a laughter riot. As each plot unfolds, the situations get bizarrely funny. Abhinay Deo’s direction is on the money. After his black comedy Delhi Belly, he has cracked another one in this genre with Blackmail. The sublime toilet humour in this story reminds you of Delhi Belly. The music in the film (Amit Trivedi) beautifully accentuates the right scenes. Badla, the rap featuring Trivedi and Divine has been used to effectively, and it adds great energy to the narrative. In the film, Omi Vaidya who’s back with his crazy American twang keeps encouraging Dev by saying, “shake it up” (pun intended!). Add to that, there’s a zany song called Sataasat with lyrics alluding to literally shaking it off! Blackmail’s quirky humour and presentation makes it a delight ride.

latest movie download tubemate

Irrfan gives a solid performance as the average office guy who can’t stand up to his boss, nor to his unfaithful wife. He brings an air of helplessness to his character and keeps a straight face even when he’s plotting and planning the blackmail. There’s a degree of uncertainty in his actions which comes from his goodness – and that’s what adds to the hilarity of it all. Arunoday Singh, as the wacky track-suit wearing bad boy, is a rage. It’s one of the best performances of his career. Divya Dutta as Ranjit’s drunken and dominating wife adds to the amusement. Her scenes with Arunoday are engaging. Also Kriti Kulhari, is decent in her part as the philandering wife.

The plot of Blackmail is its hero and it manages to strike a good balance between dark and funny. Characters are bumped off, sometimes in most gory detail and strange events unfold, but the film never loses its vein of easy, black humour. This is one of the most wickedly funny films that we’ve seen in a long time.

Padmaavat Movie downlaod from vidamte

Based on a Sufi poem of the same name written in 1540 by Malik Muhammad Jayasi, Sanjay Leela Bhansali has added his own flair and interpretation to ‘Padmaavat’, giving it a fairy-tale sheen. This makes all the controversy pointless, and pale in comparison to the spectacle that unfolds. Bhansali reunites with two of his favourite leads in recent times – Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, but adds Shahid Kapoor to complete this trio of commendable acting talent.

for hd videos downaload vidmate app

Shahid is steadfast and unflappable as Maharawal Ratan Singh – the ruler of Mewar, brimming with Rajput pride. He brings a regal aura to the character that warrants him winning the confidence and loyalty of the Mewar kingdom and more importantly, Rani Padmavati’s heart. Deepika is radiant as the Rajput Queen whose beauty, brains and valour moves the entire plot along once Alauddin Khilji becomes obsessed with her. Padmavati’s allure beyond the superficial is prominent post-interval, when her character comes to life and she gets to showcase her acting range. Ranveer as Alauddin Khilji is seen as an unhinged, barbaric Sultan, who is consumed with a ravenous libido for power and flesh. He unleashes an animal magnetism on screen with a scarred face, kohl-lined eyes and a greased torso. The scenes between him and Shahid are some of the most engrossing, as both flex their acting muscles at opposite ends of the moral spectrum. Besides them, Aditi Rao Hydari stands her ground as the naive Mehrunissa who gets a rude awakening when she discovers her husband Alauddin’s true nature. Jim Sarbh is somewhat misplaced as the Sultan’s slave-general, unable to generate enough menace to overshadow his master’s own. Nonetheless, the ensemble moves well in tune with Bhansali’s vision of this larger-than-life retelling.

The director’s expertise in heightening opulence and grandeur is well-known, further distinguishable in 3D. Cinematographer Sudeep Chatterjee compliments him by beautifully capturing some jaw-dropping scenery. However, the effects in the action/ war scenes don’t meet the expectations raised by a film of this scale. Also, the songs don’t do much to further the narrative other than providing visual delight. Granted, it could do with a tauter screenplay and shorter run-time but ‘Padmaavat’ is an entertaining, large canvas experience, brought to life with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s stroke of visual brilliance.

which has been a quite slow and unsuccessful year for animated movies, 2018 promises to be a busy time for studios and fans of animation. Disney, Pixar, Aardman, Sony, Warner Bros., Universal/Illumination, and even DC Comics – everyone’s got an animated film set for next year.

With 2010’s Toy Story 3, 2013’s Frozen, and 2015’s Minions among the 20 highest-grossing films of all time at the worldwide box office, it’s no wonder that studios have chosen to dedicate more talent and resources to animated movies. Though they take much longer to be made, these films are also able to stretch filmmaking into different directions, require little effort from actors who lend their voices to characters, and can appeal to both young and old audiences around the globe.

With the commercial success of the Despicable Me franchise and critical appeal of films such as Kubo and the Two Strings, it has become clear that Hollywood no longer relies on Disney, Pixar, and DreamWorks for its entire supply of animated movies. Competition in the industry has become increasingly tough, which is great news for fans of the genre who want better and more of these projects to hit the big screen.

Without further ado, these are 16 Animated Movies You Didn’t Know Were Coming In 2018.
16. THE INCREDIBLES 2
The Incredibles Family 16 Animated Movies You Didn’t Know Were Coming In 2018

Though the Toy Story and the Cars franchises beg to differ, Pixar is mostly known for being sparing in regards to sequels. It waited 12 years to release Monsters University (sequel to Monsters, Inc.) and 13 years to come out with Finding Dory (the sequel to Finding Nemo). As The Incredibles 2 hits the theaters 14 years after the original film, fans trust that Pixar has once again taken the appropriate time to figure out a compelling new story to tell.
15. WRECK-IT RALPH 2

How The Grinch Stole Christmas Universal Movie 16 Animated Movies You Didn’t Know Were Coming In 2018

Based on the mean-spirited green character created by Dr. Seuss, How the Grinch Stole Christmas will be released in November of 2018, just before the holiday season begins next year.

The works of Dr. Seuss have always been of interest to Universal, which produced live-action adaptations of How The Grinch Stole Christmas in 2000 and The Cat In The Hat in 2003. In 2008, however, it was Fox that released an animated feature adapting Dr. Seuss’ Horton Hears A Who!, which was well-received by critics, even if it didn’t make a lot of money.

Universal jumped on the idea of turning Dr. Seuss stories into animation with 2012’s The Lorax, which had a poor performance. In 2018, the studio will rely on the expertise of its subdivision – Illumination Studios – to release the animated How The Grinch Stole Christmas.

Atari is voiced by Koyu Rankin, an actual boy of Japanese descent who will make his cinematic debut in this film.

Wes Anderson, who is mostly known for independent live-action films that develop a cult following such as The Grand Budapest Hotel, The Royal Tenenbaums, and Moonrise Kingdom, had only directed one other full-length animated movie, Fantastic Mr. Fox, which went on to win the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature in 2009.

Tentatively titled Teen Titans Go! To The Movies, this animated movie is being produced by Warner Animation Group and will be tightly connected to the ongoing television show.

A-listers Kristen Bell and Will Arnett are also attached to the project, though the characters they will voice are yet to be revealed. Aardman Animations, the studio responsible for Chicken Run, Wallace & Gromit, Flushed Away, and Shaun The Sheep Movie, also has an original film set for a 2018 release: Early Man.

Due to its prehistoric setting and caveman protagonist, Early Man might, at first, resemble 2013’s The Croods to the casual passersby. However, this 2018 animated movie could not be more different, as it was made with Aardman Animations’ longstanding expertise in stop-motion animation and written/directed by Nick Park, whose comedic sensibilities (as seen in the Wallace & Gromit franchise) most definitely differ from standard animated movies.

Starring in Early Man are Eddie Redmayne (who’s been busy with the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them franchise), Tom Hiddleston (last seen in Thor: Ragnarok), and Maisie Williams (Game of Thrones’ Arya Stark).

Fun fact: this will be Paramount’s first-ever fully animated movie, and MGM’s first animated film in 10 years.

This sequel has James McAvoy and Emily Blunt reprising their roles of Gnomeo and Juliet, respectively. It also added Johnny Depp to the fold, as he voices the Sherlock Gnomes character. Elton John, who was responsible for the first film’s soundtrack, also oversaw the music for Gnomeo & Juliet: Sherlock Gnomes.
8. HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA 3
hotel transylvania 3 release date 16 Animated Movies You Didn’t Know Were Coming In 2018

The Hotel Transylvania films have been a much more consistent animated franchise for Sony than Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs and even The Smurfs.

Especially after the badly-reviewed The Emoji Movie was released in 2017, Sony Pictures Animation is eagerly looking for Hotel Transylvania 3 to revitalize the studio in 2018. And since Hotel Transylvania 2 was an even bigger commercial success than the original movie, expectations for the third installment are obviously high.

Actors Adam Sandler (as Count Dracula), Andy Samberg (as Johnny), Selena Gomez (as Mavis), and David Spade (as Griffin, the invisible man) are all back for Hotel Transylvania 3. Genndy Tartakovsky also came back as the director, and was additionally credited as a contributing writer for the third installment.

This will be the first mostly animated movie in Will Gluck’s career, who is known for having directed Easy A, Friends With Benefits, and the 2014 adaptation of Annie. Though Peter Rabbit is officially considered a live-action feature, more than half of the film’s characters – including all of its protagonists – are animated.

Peter Rabbit was originally scheduled to open in March of 2018, but was moved up to February.

James Corden as Peter Rabbit trailer 16 Animated Movies You Didn’t Know Were Coming In 2018

Peter Rabbit is a 2018 adaptation of Beatrix Potter’s beloved collection of stories that involve the jacket-wearing rabbit called Peter Rabbit. Starring as the title character is James Corden, and also featured in the film are actors Domhnall Gleeson, Daisy Ridley, Margot Robbie, and Elizabeth Debicki. A stellar cast, to say the least.

Original Force Animation – a studio that is mostly known for making games – is releasing a full-length animated feature in 2018 called Duck Duck Goose.

Starring Jim Gaffigan as the protagonist Peng, Duck Duck Goose also features Zendaya as Chi, Carl Reiner as Larry, and Greg Proops as Banzou. The film was directed by Chris Jenkins, who worked as an effects animator on The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, The Lion King, and Hercules. The film revolves around a goose, Peng, as it encounters two lost ducklings who were migrating south. The protagonist is not quite prepared for migration, but is forced to journey along with the ducklings. Duck Duck Goose is about understanding the power of love.
